RACKMERE GUIDE

Choosing a GPU Server for AI Inference

General decision guide · Factual review required before public indexing

Conceptual photograph of infrastructure hardware

Start with the model and runtime you intend to serve. GPU model and available VRAM influence whether the model fits and what performance you can expect, but deployment settings and request patterns matter too.

Check the whole system

Compare GPU sharing or dedication, VRAM, CPU, system RAM, storage, region, software drivers and data transfer. Confirm that the selected GPU supports the framework and precision mode you plan to use.

Test costs and limits

Estimate usage from realistic traffic, batching and context lengths. Check the billing period, setup costs and whether capacity is available in the required region. Publish benchmarks only when they have been measured on the exact offered configuration.
